ABOUT THE COMPANY

 

1) What are the emblems of MSE?

Official Color: Black and Silver

Ent Abbreviation: MSEmpire (Combination of MSE and word 'empire')

Tagline: "The Gateway to Stardom"

Values:  Musical Inclination, Sincerity and Evolutional.

2) Is MSEnt Legit?  Yes we are probably legit (most of our staff are taking a degree in college and already working) but we are not a legal company in the government eyes NOR we are a record label.

 

3) What doesn't MSEnt provides?  Meals, ticket fee (for kpop events), transportation fare and own costumes (for talents & trainees) are not provided by the company. It is shouldered by the trainee/talent.

 

4) What does MSEnt provides then? MSE provides free training, free special classes (about Korean Language and Culture), free use of practice venues and the help of MSE stylists (make-up, wardrobe, & hair) for the talents live performances also cover groups/duo/solo that are debuting are provided with a manager from MSE.

 

5) Will MSEnt hold events like KPOP Con or KPOP Fest?  We will surely hold events such as showcases (of our debuted covers groups/soloist) & family (MSEmpire) concerts, but for a big scale events like KPOP Con/Fest it will depend on the number of supporters. We do hold events that are not related to MSE, if you are needing a staff production for your event, MSE is at your service.

 

6) What is MSEnt about? MSEnt is a KPOP COVER entertainment to produced KPOP cover groups and soloist which adopted the SYSTEM of real TOP 3KPOP entertainment in Korea (YG,SM and JYP). By system we mean is HOW they debut their artists.

 

7) What other projects must we look forward from MSEnt?  You should look forward to our project MSE Films--if you are familiar with Wongfu Productions and JamichTV, then you already have an idea of what MSE Films is but to be a little unique our MSE Films accepts real life story where our fans will be sending us. Aside from MSE Films, we might host an online KPOP radio fm, a youtube online tv show and maybe a KPOP shop with AVON/NATASHA system in the following years.

 

8) Do you adopt cover groups? No, we don't. We don't implement the adoption system because as said earlier we follow the system of KPOP ents such as SM,YG and JYP. Everyone must go through our audition.

 

9) How can I audition for MSE? We hold 1-2 auditions every year (one is major and the other is minor audition). Official Auditions which is the big scale major audition have 3 rounds of elimination (Online, Live & Ranking Auditions). It opens every near end of the year or start of the new year (December/January). Summer Audition is the minor audition for those who were'nt able to catch up the official auditions specifically the deadline of video entry for the online audition stage, in the summer audition, it is more strict and there is a limit of number of people who can audition (that is done bny slot reservation for audition), also group audition is not allowed, everyone shall audition individually, but unlike the official audition, it doesn't have stages of elimination, lastly it is held every summer but not regularly held every year or every summer.

 

 

 

ABOUT THE STAFF

 

1) Does being a staff gets paid? Definitely NO, being a staff voluntary and just to gain experience.

 

2) Will the staff is in-charge of making decisions for the trainees? No,mainly the Administrators & Board of Directors does the decision making for the company. One example is SELECTION PROCESS where we  will choose the members (from their trainees) for a cover group, duo or soloist ready to debut.

 

3) Are the staff members expert in their field of work? Some of them are majoring in a college course related to their POSITION in MSEnt, others are choosen if they have experience on the job or equipments for the job position.

 

4) Does the staff works online only? For the Creatives team, their work is mostly online but they are still required to attend important company meetings and events which happens more than thrice a year.

 

5) If I failed in the audition for trainee, can I apply as staff?  It will depend on your experience related to your chosen position but being a staff SHOULD NOT be a option once you failed to be a trainee. 

 

6) If I am a staff and decide to resign, can I audition for trainee?  Yes, that is possible, you need to go through MSE auditions like everyone else.

 

 

ABOUT BEING A TRAINEE/TALENT

 

1) Does the trainee have to be good in both singing and dancing? No,their dancing and vocal skills will be trained. MSEnt covers all talents,aside from singing and dancing, we accept people who can rap or those who can play an instrument. We are looking for trainees that have pleasing personality and attitude, perseverance and determinated or willing to learn.

 

2) How long will the training be? It depends on the trainee improvements and determination. Trainees/Talents have CONTRACTS (hard-copy) which can be terminated once a trainee/talent violates the rules (in our handbook) during their stay in MSE or terminated if the trainee/talent decide to leave MSE.

 

3) If I auditioned with my group/friends together, we will be accepted as group? For the 1st stage of Official Audition which is the Online Audition, your group will passed or failed as a group. For the following stages it will depend if everyone in your group is deserving to be a trainee, because MSEnt will judge groups performances individually during the live performances auditions which include Live Audition, and Ranking Audition.

 

4) After my debut or near debut, what should I expect? Just like real KPOP Idols,our talents/artists(cover group/soloist) will film MV covers, perform live at KPOP events/contests/album launching, have photoshoot(for the promotional song of the REAL KPOP group/soloist), interviews, showcases (mini-concerts),family concerts, maybe even star/cameo in Moonstar Film Productions short films, get to host their own variety show online and guest in MSE's online radio FM. The schedule of talents are mostly also under MSE projects (ex. Moonstar Film Productions) and KPOP events.

 

5) Do trainees and talents gets paid? NO,since the staff doesn't the trainees and talents doesn't gets paid too. This is all for fun, experience and support KPOP by promoting them in this way.

 

6) Do trainees have to pay the practice venue fee? The practice venue is rented or reserved by MSE and it's appropriate for practice matters), there is no fee for the practice venue, that is one advantage of being a trainee/talent.

 

 

 

ABOUT THE MSE ACTORS (MSE FILMS)

 

1) Does actors/actresses gets paid? Again,it's a NO, Moonstar Film Productions maybe a project/another branch of the ent but no salary will be involved.

 

2) Can a trainee/talent be actors/actress?  Yes,but not vice-versa.Since auditions for actors/actress will took place after the audition to be a trainee. (EXAMPLE: Yoona & Siwon are actors and at the same time, a KPOP idol, but Goo Ahra & Lee Yeon Hee who are actresses of SM cannot be a KPOP Idol.This system also applies in MSEnt). 

 

3) Do actors receive acting lessons/workshop?  No, after the casting audition for the roles, they will be doing the project briefing (meeting) where all of the involved staff for the certain film project then followed by the filiming of the project or poster photoshoot.

 

4) How will the actors get a role for a certain project? There will be a casting audition for a certain role and if the director and the scriptwriter will be the one to decide which role is given to who based on how well they did in the casting audition.

 

5) Does MSE shoulders the fare and meals of actors?  Just like the trainees, personal fees are not shouldered by MSE, but there is an exception, when the filming ends for every film project, there might be an after party-dinner/lunch with all the casts and production team and only then MSE will shoulder the payment.
